<p>Als am 7. Juli 1785 sein Vorgänger, <a href="Stanislaw_Czerniewicz" title="Stanislaw Czerniewicz">Stanislaw Czerniewicz</a>, starb, wählte die Generalversammlung des Ordens am 27. September desselben Jahres Lenkiewicz zum Generalvikar.
</p><p>Am 10. November 1798 starb Gabriel Lenkiewicz.
